Know About Kirdam Road Race & Activities.
The Kirdam Road Race aims to promote and revitalize provision of clean, piped water to Baringo Central Constituency residents through the Purchase of water Pipes, the construction of water tanks etc. as part of the realization of Kirdam Phase 2 water Project. The road race also involves getting residents to engage in a healthy fun - run around the scenic terrain of Kirandich Dam, Kituro area and Neighbouring sakasak forest and adjacent hills for a relaxed Fun Run

Impact Stories
Kirandich Dam is a very big water Reservoir, with the total annual water volume capacity reaching 1.3 million Cubic Meters. Since construction Kirdam (as it is known to the Locals) has been a stable source of clean water for Kabarnet Town Residents and a few outlying areas around County Headquarters.
Awareness of the Kirdams Potential, is transforming the area's productivity and uplifting the community’s Standard of life. The Kirdam Race has not only brought the initiative of transforming the local community’s standard of life by accessing clean water, but by raising awareness of the area’s serene location and international tourism and recognition of talent from the athletic community.
